Say no. If they use it anyway, and the local laws allow it without probable cause, at least you tried. If they didn't have the right to use it and used it anyway, with a good lawyer you will get off. It may cost more than a pot or pipe fine, but at least you got to stick it to the man.
I made a post in KC Fish's pot bust thread about an expierence I had when the cops detained us until a dog got there which was unlawful. Typically, if they already have the dog there, I think you're screwed. It's all about what your state laws regarding it says.
