I'm looking at this Jude Law guy, and I'm thinking, "What is that about?" He's all kind of lumpy in the face with moles and stuff, and he has bad hair, and at one point he puts on these goofy English glasses and I almost started laughing, thinking it was a little comedy moment. But no one else laughed, and I was kind of confused.
So after the movie, I asked my wife. "That guy," I said, "Is he actually considered good looking?"
With about a nanosecond of hesitation, she replied. "Oh, yeah. He's gorgeous."
"Huh?"
"That hair, those eyes...he's a hunk."
"You're kidding. What about the lumps of flesh in his face, and the moles?"
"Stop it. He's gorgeous, and you know it."
"I don't know it. I thought he was kind of homely. Did you say you like his hair?"
"Yes. It's fantastic hair."
"Did you look at it? It's all on top of his head, like Kramer, but flat. It looks like a bad wig that an accident victim would wear because nothing else will cling to the scar tissue."
"He has the best hair of anyone alive."

I just don't get it. I cannot figure out what women see in some of these men. Jude Law? Brad Pitt? They're run of the mill at best, in my opinion, but women seem to find them attractive.

Its the same principle that applies to music stars, has nothing to do with their actual looks. Put an average looking guy on stage or screen, have the press tell everyone how smoldering they are & all of a sudden they are "hot".
Most women are so transparent.
