Forgive me for stating the INCREDIBLY ****ING OBVIOUS, but not a single one of you have seen this movie. Not a single one of you know what actually happens in it. You're all ASSUMING there is nudity (from what I've read of the screening, there isn't). You're ASSUMING there wasn't an of-age body double used in the rape scene (there is some speculation there is). You're ASSUMING you know the nature of this scene (it's been called "violent" several times -- how do you know?).
As mcan has pointed out repeatedly, 12 year old have been seen both nude and raped in film before. There is precedent for this. Now, that might not make it okay in your eyes, but it certainly puts to rest any suggestions the director will be "locked up for child porn."
Bottom line: if you, or your child, doesn't understand the difference between reality and fiction, then YOU OR YOUR CHILD have a problem. The director of this movie is not the problem. YOU ARE. Teach your kids the difference between right and wrong, and art (movies, music, video games, etc.) won't be an effective trigger.
And please, for God's sake -- wait until you actually SEE a film before spouting off about all the evils it may or may not even contains. Damn.
