It seemed to me like it was more of the usual of Shannon being a bitch. She made about 30 gay jokes when she was jealous of Boone spending all his time with Locke. If her making a gay joke in last Wednesday's episode was a reveal, then why were the many other gay jokes she made about Boone and Locke not a reveal? Sounded like a throwaway insult to me.
