I think a lot of you have taken a few examples of this and turned it into something it is not. Now it's convenient for your argument, and justifies this supposed hatred.
I am a St. Louisan born and raised, 34 years living in this city. And I can tell you that EVERY, and I literally mean EVERY person I know here, friends, family, etc. has NOTHING but great things to say about KC. They prefer it to STL and would move there if the opportunity was there.
Whenever I wear Chiefs gear around town, it never fails that someone mentions it, and when I tell them I'm a STH, they talk about how great Arrowhead is, how they wish they had an atmosphere like that, etc. People always mention the Plaza, Nelson-Atkins, etc as well.
There are jackoff fans in EVERY city. I know I don't hold all Chiefs fans responsible for the bullshit I see at Arrowhead EVERY WEEK.
But , hey, if you want to label an entire city, be my guest.
