I shorted the toll booth at the lake last weekend. One dollar.
The toll is 2.50, I was thinking 1.50, spaced out I handed the operator two bucks and got fifty cents back. I noticed the toll fare as I pulled away and realized quickly what I did.
I told my family to hold on and turned onto a side street to turn around and went back to give them the extra dollar.
The sad thing is, the operators were shocked that I returned, the world should be better than this. It isn't so hard to do the right thing, and if more people did it, there would be far fewer problems in the world.
