Michael Vick has been indicted for conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture. If Vick is found guilty on the traveling part of the indictment, he could face up to five years in prison, pay a $250,000 fine and full restitution. If he is found guilty on the animal fighting venture part of the indictment, he could face up to a year in prison, pay a $100,000 fine, or both. Vick would also have to forfeit anything he gained from the proceeds of the dog fights.
