My vote is Hooters. Never had anything even approaching a decent experience. Everything's cold, wings are undersauced, and it's all at premium prices.
Were it not for 50 cent boneless Thursday's I'd say Buffalo Wild Wings. Their food and their sauces are good, but the friggen 25 cents for a stick of celery, 50 cents for a little cup of blue cheese crap is annoying. You're not Ruth Chris, the total al a carte approach isn't 'elegant.'
Steak'n'Shake is a great lunch, when you use coupons. Double steakburger platter with two sides [fries and salad, here], for $4.19 is a pretty darn good deal.
And WTF??? is up with bagging on Olive Garden's lunch. Oh noes, the Italian chain serves pasta, salad and bread sticks!?!?!?ONEONE What are they thinking? I mean, I go into an italian restuarant, and the least I expect is a decent moo goo gai pan.
I don't go very often, but our office agrees that the one thing we'd like added to our lunch options in the area is an Olive Garden with the soup/salad deal. The last couple of times I've been [I think I've only been twice in the last year and a half, once my sister picked it for her B-Day dinner, and once when the power was out last year and a new one had just opened up nearby], it was refreshingly fresh, well prepared entrees.
