Why do you keep calling it lettuce?
In the panoply of chain italian restaurants, OG is one of the few to go beyond lettuce, to include red onion, artichoke hearts, black olives, tomatoes and pepperocini.
Like I said, we don't have an OG nearby, and all the italian restaurants we have nearby, including a 'gourmet' non-chain restaurant, actually are lettuce and dressing only. They don't even have pepperocinis in the building [I've asked]. The 'gourmet/upscale'
restuarant actually has a decent salad of heart of romaine, pancetta and site made dressing, but they don't have anything to add to it. Take it or leave it.
