Carl & Herm may be willing to settle for getting younger in '07 to make a title run in '08. That means starting Croyle, Bowe and (possibly) letting LJ rot in contract hell. There is no way the Chiefs are a serious playoff team in '07 with a young, untried QB. The OL is clearly not what we are used to.
I'd put up with a youth movement if it meant being a strong offensive performing team in 2008, but honestly, we are a few players away from that. With TG, LJ and Huard the Chiefs have a shot at making the post-seaon this year seeing our D is makedly improved. If Bowe turns into a field-stretching gamer and we get real support from the FB position, this O can hang.
Prediction: Herm goes for the youth movement.
