An eye towards 2008? What a moron.
Doesn't this guy realize that Carl's contract doesn't expire until January 2009 and it won't be until then that the Chiefs can even begin to THINK about looking towards winning again.
I assume Clark Hunt's plan until then is to continue to let Carl and Herm destroy the franchise so someone can come in 2009 (Bill Cowher?) and completely rebuiild the franchise from the ground up.
