You guys are placing too much emphasis on drops. Drops is not really a relevant stat. Neither Caldwell nor Parker had more than 5 drops. Some of the best receivers lead the league in drops. And don't tell me that is because they get thrown to more, because per balls thrown at them they still lead in drops per attempt. Look at TO, one of the best receivers in the league. TO never could catch, he still is dominant. Randy Moss also averages a ton of drops per pass thrown as welll. It's more about route running than "catching". I agree Parker doesn't run the best routes, but Caldwell isn't any better. He hadn't done shit for the Chargers either, even playing in all of the games. He never had more than 350 yards until he was thrust into a role last year where the Patriots were forced throw to someone, anyone.
