Minnesota's defense had the worst total pass defense, but they had the ball thrown the most against them. The rush defense was so good that teams just decided to throw most of the time.
If you look at other pass defense stats, Minnesota's pass defense was actually pretty good. They were 16th in completion percentage, 13th in yards per pass, 5th in QB rating, and they had 21 INTs to only 15 TDs. The one thing they didn't have last season was a pass rush, but so far this season their pass rush has been great.
