I'm glad you had a good time. The only advice I can give you is that you're playing a pickup game. When WR's in the NFL run routes, every move is planned. The QB knows where that guy is going to be and where he's going to cut. You watch those guys on TV and they don't look back to the QB until the ball is there. In pickup, I don't. You have to do two things:
1. Show yourself to the QB, which means crossing and slant routes generally. Sometimes as an outlet guy.
2. Look at the QB. If you're open but not looking, I'm not going to throw it unless I anticipate a cut is going to turn you towards me.
