Yes, it keeps the snow from sticking. Two years ago, I lost a good chunk of the Missouri/South Carolina bowl game because the dish was covered with snow. IIRC, that little piece of advice came from Skip.
And actually, I used Pam. So I guess you could say I Bronco'd my dish.
