I went to Florida in December, and some asshole left his lit cigarette in his ashtray while he began to eat (this was an outside eating establishment). but he moved the ash tray out of his own way to the side, which blew all the ****ing smoke in my face while I was eating. I smoked for 20 years, and I never did shit like that. I was always courteous while others were eating.

did you try asking him to put it out or move it?
i'll tell you as a smoker i feel as though you don't want my money if you don't want to let me smoke. why go to a bar, and be forced outside, when i can smoke on my couch at home? before any smoker nazis make a comment, if you don't like smoke i tell you to do the same. just as i don't support nonsmoking establishments, feel free to not support smoking establishments.
as for the ban, its crap. its not fair to smokers or the business owners, to force them to enforce rules that are bad for business.
