Exactly.
Which is why I can't fathom the owners terminating THIS deal, when they KNOW the players union won't accept a new deal with a cap.
Seems like a HUGE gamble to take that they MIGHT be able to negotiate their way out of a mess.
Which would be worse? The current deal with a cap, or a new deal without?
