The pivotal word here is "assuming".
I'm assuming she could file for divorce in two months and tell everyone how she tried to do the "noble" thing for the family but couldn't make it work.
She'd come out of it smelling like a freakin' rose to people like you.
I'm assuming that is her motive and plan.
