I think KU started and played most of the first half with so much energy in the first half until about the 4:00 mark, and that's when NC started to cut into the lead.

NC didn't have enough gas to maintain their intensity, and KU went back to what they started the game with at about the 6:00 mark in the second half, getting the ball inside to the big men.
