Here's what I think happened (5/17/2008).

Daniel shuttles everyone possible to the freighter and gets them off the island.

Hurley, Locke & Ben confront Widmore's men.

Someone alerts the freighter crew to the C4 and Keamy's detonator (on his arm).

Everyone on the freighter is somehow returned to the island to avoid destruction.

In the meantime, the "Oceanic 6", who were on their way to the freighter become stranded at sea and found.

The rest are lost in time.
