It's the thrill of the chase, man.
95% of it is mostly driving around, when I was down in Norman, OK, went on a few chases that lasted 850 or so miles and took 14+ hours. Most of it was driving around to get started, but once the storms fired and you had them in sight, there was nothing boring about the driving whatsoever...

I was thinking about driving up today. My sister lives in Omaha and I'm only about four hours away. But with gas at $4/gal right now I'm not in much of a storm chasing mood...
