Why can't they just enter that identification info from my old unit when they decided to send me this fugged up refurb unit? All of this is making me seriously consider going back to Sony.

I believe there is a class action started against MS for this.. Which hopefully will force them to do the right thing and go away from this behavior and give customers what they paid for..
