THAT is unpredictable television. I haven't been that legitimately nervous during a match since at least the Orton-HHH last man standing at No Mercy.
Punk is being portrayed as a kind of "on the job training" champ right now, which is great as long as they keep having him eke things out and progressively stronger. I love the poetic justice for Edge, too.
And the writing on this Jericho angle is even stronger. He keeps being correct, but in a way that makes him more sanctimonious than sympathetic. Having Kofi pull his tights, only for him to retaliate and be DQed... just ****ing genius. Shades of gray, but effective shades of gray rather than Russo's hacky conceptualization of it.
Just... well done, WWE. You've completely revitalized Raw over the course of one week.
Also, having Cena and Cryme Tyme as allies further bolsters Punk's street cred.

I didn't realize it until they went to commercial, but the opening segment of Raw was an incredible 25 minutes long. And an incredible 25 minutes.
