I swear by putting a bell attached to a string on the door for potty training. Take him out all the time and everytime you need ring the bell with his nose. It took me 2 days and my dog was ringing the bell to go outside. After a week or so the bell had to go because the little shit new she could get outside to play just by ringing the bell, but by then she new to just sit by the door.
Alpha male: assert yourself now. Wrestle with the dog, pin him down and make sure you don't let him bite. It may be cute now when he nips, but it won't be when he's bigger and he won't know the difference. Hold his mouth shut for a second when he tries to bite. Just generally play with him, but make sure you always end up with the upper hand.
