Can you imagine the backlash if Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy don't allow Favre to finish his career in Green Bay? They would become instant parriahs.

I think the likely scenario is that Favre starts, Rodgers backsup, Brohm is number three, and Ryan is on the practice squad. The rest is all just a bunch of off season speculation and blowing out of porportion. If Favre wants to play, and start, for the Packers, he most likely will.
