I have seriously been considering reporting a failure so I can get a new 360. I've had this one for quite a while now; about time for it to go tits-up. "Pre-emptive service replacement"
I have known people who have sent it in only for MS to call them and say there's nothing wrong with your Xbox. There has to be something wrong with it. I am sure they have a few people there that just test it.
Could always try though. When i got the RROD, mine wouldnt red ring all the time, i would be able to play it, but when i turned it off and tried to play later that day, i couldnt. It was all wierd. Worked when it wanted too.
