SAN DIEGO -- It has been a star-studded last couple of days at the Chargers' camp Monday night. The team listened to a media training presentation by former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer.

Tuesday, the atmosphere got a little more raw. Former pro wrestler Bill Goldberg was present at camp.

Goldberg, a former NFL player who lives in San Diego, was a very popular visitor among players. Linebacker Shawne "roidman" Merriman, who himself participated in a wrestling event this summer in a cameo role, hugged Goldberg and spent several minutes with him. Chargers coach Norv Turner also spent some time with Goldberg. The two were together with the Los Angeles Rams in 1990 when Turner was an assistant coach and Goldberg was a rookie.
