You pay normal sales tax from the county you registered the vehicle in. Property tax is based on the value of the car, not what you paid for it.
If you do not have a bill of sale from the seller or the seller did not right the sales price on the title, you may have to sign an affidavit that swears you paid the amount you tell them.
