Yeah, it's not flashy... but I believe that's where you should start.
They're building a foundation here. If Brodie flamed out... well, that sucks... but it's not a huge deal. We'll get a QB later.
I don't think playing the Pats close was a fluke. And say what you will about Brady being out... but the rest of that team aint bad either.
The fact is, we're playing a lot of kids... and those kids came to play. To me, in one game... it seemed like they did well for themselves against one ot the best teams in the league.
I'm very encouraged.

I understand what you're saying and don't get me wrong, the Chiefs are doing the RIGHT thing. But weakness at on the right side of the offensive line, a poor linebacking corp and questionable quarterbacking is what will prevent the Chiefs from winning more than 4 games this season.
