I've sat in the crown seats probably a half dozen times. One of my best buds works for a company that has four of them. We try to be on our best behavior when there, so not to screw up his deal to get those seats.
The food before the game is always fabulous. It's a big buffet with everything you could possibly want. Seafood, beef, ham, all kinds of salads and desserts, really good stuff.
They have little waitress chicks that wait on you hand and foot, and yes, you are supposed to tip them and the bartenders, and tip them pretty well. I've been lucky that every crown seat I've been given has been free, so tipping out $30 or $40 during a game is not a big deal.
Never had a problem with any drunken ass rich dicks, but maybe you were just a victim of circumstance. You're lucky you didn't pop a lawyer, or you might find yourself litigating, even if it wasn't your fault. Lawyers are funny that way.
