If they make more than minimum wage I generally don't tip unless someone does something that exceeds expectations (I used to be a server so I'm more generous than I should be)... the only exception off the top of my head being pizza delivery. I've seen tip jars at carryout counters, and I'm a little curious to know if they make minimum wage... at some places it seems to be a dedicated job, but at other places I've seen someone put together a carryout order while also serving tables.
In general though, there's a reason why you make $8/hour working at Chipotle. Doing your job, and even doing it well, doesn't warrant a 'bonus'. You get paid to do your job well, you get a bonus if you're exceptional. I think it's funny when people pay $100 for a haircut or tip them $20. I'm not cheap, I'm just much more inclined to be generous to people I know.
