BPA doesn't apply in the top 5. You can get the top-rated player at every single position. Why would you settle for a player you don't need?
I like Orakpo. My only concern is that he seems like a one-dimensional DE. I have a feeling he'll get swallowed up in run D on the pro level. He may become a very good player, but he has flaws in his game.
I still believe that the absolute best fits for the Chiefs are Maualuga and Laurinitis. These are both can't-miss prospects. Rather than use a top 5 pick on a top prospect, why not trade down and draft either of these 2 guys at the right value and get 1 or 2 great picks on the side? I've said this many times, but I've heard little response. I never understood why teams are so stubborn to trade out of their slot--if the Chiefs don't find a taker, then drop the compensation request a notch (you don't have to adhere strictly to the draft compensation chart). Hell, you could trade down and probably STILL get Orakpo. If not Orakpo, Michael Johnson.
