I'm sure people will criticize this idea. But if we all truly believe that Herm's in KC in 2009 no matter what, hiring Gibbs is the surest way that Herm will be fired in 2009 if he doesn't perform. Seems like he's the one calling the plays in anyway and he's done a pretty good job with the secondary so far.
