Comcast is God-awful. I've had their repair "technicians" come to my house, accidentally disable my internet, then refuse to fix the problem and pick a fight with me in the process. When I tried to hold them responsible for disabling my internet (I think they severed some sort of a connection outside), one rep claimed I had a bad attitude and stormed out of the house.

Also, there's no way to contact them locally about an issue. Every single call I put in to customer service took me to Canada or to a random northern city in the US. Even those centers have to rely on Email to contact the local distribution centers up here in KC. The call centers have to wait for the distribution centers to write them back and since there's no way for the call center rep to return a call to me, there's no way of telling if my issue or concern is being handled/looked into, etc... Ridiculous.

When I lived in Lenexa, I never had any concerns with Time-warner. Then I ended up moving to Olathe where Time-warner doesn't exist apparently which is why I started out with Comcast. After experiencing Comcast's horrid customer service, I finally went with ATT and their Dish Network Cable. I think their customer service is leagues better and the price is right about the same for the same things I was getting from Comcast.
