I would think it was too soon if she were single. Relationships take time to develop. Certainly you and your wife were able to beat some long odds. But I wouldn't care and just think she was being a tad bit on the sleazy side if it were just her.
As it is, I think she's being stupid and foolish since she's done this with a kid. I think most child mental health professionals would agree with me.
