Some teams seem to always be building for the long haul but they never start winning and other teams put all they can into every season trying to build/buy a winner but they only end up middle of the road and underachieve. It takes a balance but you can never go into a season thinking it's o.k. to lose because you're rebuilding. I guess for the long haul a team must make good decisions regarding players in the draft and free agency yearly.
