Not to be defensive at all in comparing boringness of states because I really couldn't care less about either state (outside of Lawrence, of course

), but it reminds me of my drive through Illinois between St. Louis and Chicago a few months ago... and it was worse than the drives through Iowa because Illinois is a 65mph state and I was trying to watch my speed after having been pulled over a couple of times in the recent past.
It wast the most brutal 300 miles I've driven in a long, long time. Then again, I haven't driven through Kansas at 65mph lately.
