I'm actually really happy about the offensive staff. I was one of the "keep Gailey" supporters. He kept most of his staff and adds a very seasoned o-line coach plus a WR coach Haley had last year. The only remaining question in my mind is who will the QB & RB coaches be?
On defense it looks less promising but I think the posters suggesting KC may still hire a DC are on to something. The Chiefs have been so secretive they would not want to tip their hand that they are still pursuing a DC, so rather than announce the titles and state openly they've yet to hire a DC they just leave it unannounced until the DC is hired. Pendergast and / or Gibbs take on a whole different look as a linebackers coach and/or defensive assistant. I can't figure out why they would hold on to Krumrie but maybe Gunther was the biggest problem there (anyone hear that James Hasty interview?
Sounds like they got a good ST coach too.
