I am skeptical of their numbers. If you can charge it fully in 4 hours on a 220v outlet, that's about 26.4 kWh of capacity. If it can travel 300 miles on one charge, that's an average of 0.088 kWh per mile. That's the equivalent of 375 mpg in a gasoline powered car, or let's say, 10 times as efficient as a fairly fuel efficient car. Most internal combustion engines have an efficiency of around 20%, so it's impossible for an electric motor to be 10 times as efficient.
