Strouds is excellent, but it's not bbq & you'll wait for a table. They're famous for their fried chicken but the grilled pork chops are to die for.

Smoke House has a place on N. Oak, just a mile or two from Happy Rock Park. They also have a place in the Zona Rosa shopping district (mini Country Club Plaza) at I29 & Barry Rd. There's Marty's BBQ in Liberty also. It's about 5-7 miles from the park. If you want AWESOME food, go to Piropos in the Briarcliff area near Riverside. Expensive but delicious. [not bbq] Dress is semi-casual. It's on the web. [I used to live up that way.]
