In this years draft they are it seems. Same with NT's, as everyone around here thinks that the Chiefs would be justified drafting a 4-3, one-gap, up-tackle like BJ Raji and then converting him to a 3-4 two-gap NT.

Other than LB's and hybrid DE/OLB, it looks to be a pretty meager defensive draft. I'm sure that there will be guys who will end up being standout players from this draft, but at least initially, it's pretty thin pickings, especially when one considers how many teams are "converting" to a 3-4 concept and are looking for certain body types for specific positions. It's why guys like Raji and Jackson and Ayers are overvalued in this particular draft.
