I'm going to use this thing mainly for watching sports, playing some video games (not a lot) and of course the occasional movie and television show. I'm also living in an apartment with a decent amount of light although I think I'll be able to make it dark if need be. Is there any reason I shouldn't buy this TV?

Sounds like an awesome deal. I know it's 720p but 600hZ sounds pretty sick and the contrast is 2,000,000:1.
