If the Chiefs did go 0-6, then make it to the SB, then the NFL would have a tremendous amount of parity. And if the team did go 0-6 before losing in the SB, then I'm not sure that, given the parity in the league, one could expect them to get back there next season. If the league really is that much of a coin-flip at the time of this hypothetical season, then the positives of a "bad" Chiefs team SB run would be lessened.
