This whole "Man Of A Thousand Faces" thing has me thinking.
It seems to me that the impersonation racket would be a damn tough business. I mean, it would be kind of like the old West where there was always a faster gun somewhere out there. I wonder if Now Dead Fred was always looking over his shoulder for the "Man With A Thousand And Two Faces" or (God Forbid) the "Man With A Thousand And Seven Faces". Everybody knows that if Johnny Carson had to choose, he's going with the guy with more faces, that's for sure. Anyhow, it's as though - in order to stay competitive - you would constantly be having to come up with another face and there's only 6.5 billion faces to choose from - many of which are completely unrecognizable, to boot. Of course, that would make it easier, I suppose. If you did an impersonation of Wong Dang Doo of Gansu Province, who's going to know if you did it right? Wong's family and that's about it, really. Which, by the way, reminds me that (according to Texe Marrs) all 6.5 billion people in the world could live comfortably in the State of Texas. I haven't counted the number of counties in Texas or calculated the number of square feet each person would have allotted to them if they were all to move to Texas, but if he says it's true, I guess it probably is.
