Yes, the bench shirt adds alot to his max (400-500lbs for
some) but u can't slam his technique because it's legal in all powerlifting federations. In NASA and USAPL (the only drug free fed's in KS) you have to have a noticeable pause when the weight touches your chest...in NASA you actually have to wait for the head judge to tell you when you can press the weight off of your chest. Arching of the back is legal but your butt has to stay on the bench and can't slide around and your feet have to be flat on the floor and stationary. It's not easy.
