The one complaint I have heard from people that are diehard into the books was that rumor has it that the Gaunts are not in the movie, while they decided to spend the time with the action scene that is not in the book. Reportedly they felt the book was too low on action so they just inserted a random action scene in the middle at the Burrow. If I remember right, Empire Strikes Back didn't have a billion action scenes and people still think it is pretty damn good. Apologies for the cross-geekdom.
