After wiggling it around awhile to no avail, I finally gave up on that side I tried the other side but still had the same exact problem.
I have driven cars for 22 years and never, not once, have I ever had this kind of problem. Is there something that I'm missing here?

nope the wheel is just stuck on. several ways to get it off. aluminum wheel or steel?
