Loading trucks at EFD (Every Frickin Day we called it). Weight limit was 100 lbs and I weighed 125. Lots of car parts and awkward packages. 1st day on the job, I slice my hand open on a fender. 2nd day on the job I dropped an axle on my big toe. To this day my toenail looks alien. They had rollers to push the boxes on and I remember one cold January day where my drawstring from my hoodie got caught and thought I would be decapitated. lol.
Didn't quit though. Stayed there for 2 years and made it to the sort aisle making 20% more than the other guys. Since I didn't go to the military, I would consider it my boot camp. Better off for it today.
