Yeah, when I'm standing under tree cover on a cloudy day 5 miles away from the truck and sunset is approaching I'm certainly not breaking out Google Android Phone if I have a choice in the matter.
Gotta go with the dedicated, shock resistant and water proof dedicated GPS system with an antenna made for those conditions. Neat toy for the city but not when it's the difference between a night in the woods and making it to a road before sunset.
