So luv, did you give him any signals to make a move? My other theory is that, with a person like that, a person may not make a move because rejection would eliminate that person as one's idealized match. It's better to avoid the risk of rejection for the guarantee of the permanent "what if" scenario.

I avoided the risk of rejection. We didn't run in the same social circles. Not that he was too good for me, or definitely ot vice versa, but I didn't like a lot of his friends. He hung out with a stuck up crowd.
